MINT. 1
[Later that day at ***’s place]
Mint: Hey do you know what time she is going to be back I don’t want her to find me here.
***: Relax she is not going to be home until next week, relax we will be fine, do you need anything, drink, snack, can I get you anything?
Mint: No, I am fine, and no I am not worried I just feel like this is wrong, you know she was my best friend…
***: It was a week Mint, you two were stranded in a hotel in snow snowstorm for a week, I don’t think that qualifies.
Mint: I think it does, in a way at least, you know we talked a lot during that time, about life, about her life, my life and you came up a lot so I know how much she appreciates you, that is why I feel like I am betraying her right now. You know she’s always liked you.
***: I Know, I can tell by how she looks at me, you two share a glance, come here… you have pretty eyes, up close they are even prettier, where did you get them?
Mint: Thank my mom and my deadbeat of a dad for that.
***: If I ever get the privilege to meet them I will, will I ever?
Mint: Will you ever what?… Meet them?… No, that will probably never happen, because we are not good for each other, you know this…
***: I know, what a shame these moments never last forever, they can’t, I know they don’t last but I can dream right, I know you think the same at times too.
Mint: I do and it sucks that we are never going to be soul mates. I love living in these moments, I live for moments like these…
To be continued.
