I am a sheep for I am the product of my nurture.
You are sheep for you live your life by certain rules.
We are all sheep, have you seen how we react to the red light?
We all get our beliefs from somewhere, nothing is new under the sun they say.
Being called a sheep is often taken as an insult, hear me out on this, sometimes being a sheep is a good thing. For us to successfully function in our society we all have to live by and follow certain rules made by people who we trust to lead us. This is our only way to live better and peaceful lives, of course there is always room for improvement but as it stands we have to live with what we have.
We all do it without knowing. We all agree to be sheep one way or another, it helps and it keeps us safe, as unorthodox as this might sound I think sometimes it helps us to follow things mindlessly for one reason or another. That mindless following can be identified or defined as faith, having faith in other people sometimes helps. Dr. Skar’s vaccine helped us, as regular folks we didn’t know anything about it but we all had faith in all our scientists and doctors and we allowed them to vaccinate our children. We all mindlessly followed his orders, we were sheep, we had faith in him and he didn’t let us down. Just because that worked it doesn’t mean every scientist and doctor is always right, at the end of the day they are human just like you and me, which means mistakes are always around the corner waiting to jump-scare you every chance it gets.
Let us not get carried away, sometimes being a sheep can be detrimental to your life as a person and to everyone as a society. Such is life, life is like a storm, it waters some of your crops and at the same time destroys others…
We have to go to war to defend what’s ours; our thoughts, our bodies, our loved ones, our rights, our territory, our freedom. Isn’t it ironic that we go to war to get to peace?
