For a Reason?

Art : Service.

By Sakuan.

I looked at it in the eye, it told me all the things I wanted to hear, at the time I thought to myself maybe this is a play. Then it approached me and told me I was worth it, but that didn’t take long it later came to me and killed my hopes and dreams, it later told me what it really meant and that was not encouraging at all, it didn’t even know what it wanted in the first place. It took my soul with it, the only thing I find valuable, this is something that I know people care about, I care about my life, I care about what happens to me, so it said and I believed it, I knew it was going to be perfect when it approached me and indeed it was, I knew the time had come for it to show its true face and I am still waiting to this day because it never did, there was this one time where I sat there waiting for hours but nothing happened, I asked myself a lot of stupid questions, nobody ever answered them, not even the small voices in my head, this is life, this is what we are and this is what it does, the project has come, the time has come for me to step out of my comfort zone for me to understand what it truly is, that is what I thought in the first place but then I asked myself, what is a comfort zone, and why do I have to get out of it? Isn’t it the only thing that has kept me alive all this time, or maybe it is the thing that has kept me from advancing my life all this time, and there is it, it is all a matter of perspective…

And then it looked at me in the eye and it told me it doesn’t even know what it is, how can I know what it is if it doesn’t even know what it is itself?

What is fate?

I hope my art brings perspective, joy, and/or happiness to any viewer/reader out there”
